Admark's new fleet vehicle graphics - car # 1

The "Geometric"

Admark is in the process of upgrading its vehicle fleet graphics, which is always an exciting time for us as we have access to some incredible vinyls and wrap films from 3M, along with all sorts of amazing finishes and effects.

To align with our updated branding, our Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer worked together to create the concept graphic below, and our first vehicle in the new livery (above) rolled out of the application bay last week.

The graphics are printed on 3M IJ180mC-120 metallic wrap film with 8518 gloss laminate, meaning they have a beautiful depth of colour, and the orange in particular sparkles vibrantly when the sun hits it.  Unfortunately it wasn’t a particularly sunny day when we took the photos, so we can’t wait to get it back to head office for another photo shoot so we can capture the full effect of the new livery.

Our logo and accompanying text was printed on 3M IJ780MC-10R reflective white vinyl with 8518 gloss laminate.

The triangular repeat "geometric" pattern is derived from the triangles in our logo and extrapolated out from there, with different shades of colour to create movement, depth and a three-dimensional effect.  The challenge was how to effectively wrap a curved vehicle with a very angular graphic, and not have the triangles look stretched out of shape, but with a bit of clever graphic design, we’ve made it work and we’re thrilled with the results.

The printing and application process ...

The graphics were applied in-house by our applicator JD, who was ably assisted by Kiri from GAS.

Next up: Ford Ranger ute!
